  1. Whitney and Matt’s Santa Rosa Beach Wedding

    Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Whitney and Matt’s Santa Rosa Beach wedding day was the epitome of a relaxing beach wedding.  With a guest list under 25 people it was perfect!  Whitney looked gorgeous and had the most beautiful laugh!  I seriously wanted to tell her that her laugh should be recorded and played for people who were sad.  For those of you who have heard it, I am sure you know what I mean.  The whole time I was there, I kept thinking that they were seriously the most easy going people I have ever met.  Everything about this day was just… breezy.  :)  Check them out below!

Wedding & Engagement Photographer Santa Rosa Beach, Florida~

This is Whitney and Matt.  These two awesome people are getting married this coming September on our gorgeous beaches of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.  I love shooting engagement sessions with my wedding clients before their big day as it’s usually the first time I get to meet them.  :)  Most of my wedding clients come to the Emerald Coast to have their destination wedding and these two are no exception.  (I can’t really blame them!)  Whitney and Matt live in Nashville and came down a few weekends ago just to have their engagement pictures taken.  They wanted to capture the beauty of our beach town, but at the same time wanted to stay away from the pictures by the water so that they could save those for their wedding day.  I personally found that to be adorable!  It shows me how much they value my photography on their big day to want to save those.   Anyway, I could gush all day about that, but I won’t.  ;)  My obvious location option was to take a stroll through Seaside and then head on over to the gorgeous trails at Grayton Beach State Park.  :)  We had the beach-y architecture, the sand, and the dunes as our beautiful backdrop for this day without the water.  I was sort of worried that the weather wouldn’t cooperate since just days before their session we had record breaking rain that caused tons of damage to our surrounding areas.  Thankfully the weekend was beautiful, my light was beautiful, and hey–so was this couple!  It was perfect weekend.

Whitney and Matt, it was great meeting you both and I can’t wait to see you again in September!!  I hope you enjoy these.

    XO, Nichole

  3. Pastel Skies- a Seagrove Wedding

I’ve been sitting here for far too long trying to figure out what to write about Jessie and Alex’s wedding day.  It was perfect.  It’s one of those weddings where the images just speak for themselves…

Wasn’t it just dreamy?  It was a small backyard wedding in Seagrove Beach, Florida.  They were so laid back and the day just flowed perfectly.  The details were also perfect, but the thing I loved the most was that the day wasn’t about the “details” at all.  The day was about Jessie and Alex.  It was about new beginnings and a happily ever after.  This was definitely my kind of wedding! :)
